Magazines arriving in the letterbox is a treat, 10 minutes alone with a drink flicking through one is a dream. Imagine my delight as I was oohing over this month’s issue of House and Garden when I spied out of the corner of my eye our Butterfly Patch Moveables on the wall of one of the bedrooms featured. Oh what a buzz. Look closely and you will see :)

Designer Robert Ryan always brings a smile to my face. He is a man with a social conscious as well as being a skilful craftsman. Whether it is a vase, teatowel, tile, handkerchief or money box Robert Ryans designs always have a clever insight into the human psyche. All of his intricate designs are cut by hand. 
 
A Londoner, Robert Ryan’s papercutting artwork is soon going to be seen in wallpaper and showcased in a new book, ‘A Sky Full of Kindness’.
